Braverman Greenspun principal and managing partner Rob Braverman has been named a finalist for the New York Law Journal’s Office Managing Partner of the Year award. The award recognizes the leaders of New York offices who manage the day-to-day needs of their firms, execute strategic plans, and balance caseloads of their own. It is Rob’s second consecutive year as a finalist for the honor.
Rob succeeded firm leadership from his father in 1997, when it was a three-lawyer practice. The firm has since grown into a 28-lawyer, 40-employee team and one of New York City’s leading residential real estate boutiques, serving as general counsel to more than 500 co-op and condo buildings citywide. Rob has overseen two firm acquisitions since 2023, Finder Novick Kerrigan and Zingman & Associates, and recently structured a strategic affiliation with Michael Bedell and Jamie Forman of Bedell & Forman.
The recognition comes as Braverman Greenspun rolls out a brand refresh, including a new website that reflects the scale and sophistication the firm has built over nearly six decades of practice, growth that hasn’t come at the expense of culture. Braverman Greenspun was named one of Crain’s New York Business’s Best Places to Work in New York City in 2025, and Rob was recognized in Lawdragon’s 100 Managing Partners You Need to Know guide in 2026.
Rob also remains an active practitioner. With more than 30 years representing co-op and condo boards, he guides newly constructed and rehabilitated residential buildings through their transition from developer to owner control. His work in this area includes 432 Park Avenue, 56 Leonard Street, and the MOMA Tower. He also continues to maintain client relationships that in some cases date back to his father’s tenure at the firm.
